Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping bag. After you have finished your selection, click on the checkout link and you will be prompted to either log in if a returning customer or to continue to checkout where you will enter details required to complete your order.

We accept credit and debit card payment securely by PayPal. We also accept payment by UK Sterling cheque. Please note items may not be despatched until payment is cleared.  For cheques this may take 4-5 working days after receipt of payment.

Please note we are unable to ship BumGenius, Motherease and Tots Bots reusable nappies outside of the UK due to limitations within our distributor agreements.   We are unfortunately unable to shipoutside of the EU.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order.  It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.  We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Information

We will aim to process your order and ship as soon as possible - typically within 2-3 days. Some orders may take a little longer but we would expect to despatch the items to you within a maximum of 15 working days.   Shipment within the UK is normally via Royal Mail 2nd class post (which keeps costs to a minimum) and typically takes 2-4 working days from your order shipped e-mail.  If you require your delivery sooner or would like signed for delivery - please contact us after placing your order and we can quote a revised postage charge.  If outside of the UK please contact up prior to placing your order and we will confirm the postage cost based on weight to your country.

On occasion your item(s) may be temporarily out of stock whilst we wait for delivery from our suppliers. We will normally place any items on back order for you and despatch when available.  If a significant delay is expected we will contact you with the anticipated delivery time and offer you the choice of waiting or amending/cancelling the order for that item.

UK Shipping costs:

For online orders delivery is £2.95

For orders from local customers (within a 20 mile radius of Great Chesterford near Saffron Walden, Essex) delivery/collection is free. Please enter the code LOCAL in the coupon/gift certificate box at checkout and click on apply changes and free delivery will be applied.

As mentioned above we are unable to ship BumGenius, Motherease and Tots Bots reusable cloth nappies outside of the UK due to limitations within our distributor agreements.   We are also unable to ship outside the EU.

Postage charges for non-UK addresses will be calculated based on weight.  For shipment outside of the UK please contact us in advance of order placement and we will confirm the postage fee for your goods.

Tax Charges

Cloth nappies and goods exclusively for children's use are zero rated for VAT.  VAT applies at 20% for all other products.

Credit Card Security

PayPal currently handle all card transactions for Green Jelly and credit/debit card details are not held on our systems.  You do not need a PayPal account to pay via credit or debit card - there will be an option to pay by card.

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. Should you be unhappy with your purchase please return it in a resaleable condition unused and unwashed in undamaged original packaging within 60 days of purchase for replacement or refund. We regret we cannot accept returns of toiletries or hairbrushes.

Please note returns to Green Jelly are at your own cost (unless items are faulty) and we recommend you obtain a proof of postage (free of charge) from your post office.

Privacy Policy

Green Jelly do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store invoice and delivery addresses and to store your details if you have registered your details with us. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.  Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy

We are happy to offer you a full refund or free exchange if you are not happy with any item as long as it unused and in original packaging. Please return any unwanted item within 60 days to:

We recommend that you use a signed for mail service as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage in transit.  We regret that we cannot refund postage charges on returned purchases unless an item is faulty.

Cancellations policy

Should you wish to cancel your order after payment has been made and before shipment of your goods, please contact us by telephone or email within 15 days of ordering and we will usually issue a refund within 48 hours.
