Real Nappies for London

Real Nappies for London (RNfL) is a London-wide scheme which encourages parents with children under 18 months to try reusable cloth nappies rather than disposable nappies through a voucher scheme.

13 London boroughs and councils are participating in the RNfL scheme which provides vouchers to the value between £30 and £55 redeemable against reusable nappies and accessories from approved laundry services and cloth nappy retailers including Green Jelly.

- Newham
- Haringey
- Redbridge
- Hounslow
- Tower Hamlets
- Southwark

How to obtain and redeem your real nappy vouchers

1. Pick up a RNfL leaflet, visit www.realnappiesforlondon.org.uk or contact your council. Complete the application form and return it with supporting documents.
2. Applications meeting the criteria will be issued with a voucher with unique ID number and an information pack. [If your council has reached its quota for this year they may still send information to you].
3. Place an order for reusable cloth nappies and/or cloth nappy accessories at Green Jelly either by telephone or online. Enter your RNfL voucher number and council details and select the 'RNfL order - voucher/payment to follow' option at checkout. Please note we cannot send your cloth nappy order until we receive your voucher and ID in the post
4. Send your RNfL voucher, evidence of identity and your order number to Green Jelly, The Cottage, South Street, Great Chesterford, Essex CB10 1NW.
5. If you would like to pay for any difference between the order value and your voucher by cheque please enclose it with your voucher. If you would like to pay by PayPal, credit or debit card we will contact you on receipt of your voucher.
6. Once we have received your valid RNfL voucher, ID and any payment due we will ship your order to you returning your ID with your cloth nappies.

Terms & conditions

RNfL reusable cloth nappy voucher numbers have a unique reference and are identified with details of the person eligible to redeem it

- The RNfL voucher value is clearly shown and varies with the issuing borough
- The RNfL voucher is valid for 6 months from the date shown on the voucher (inclusive)
- One RNfL voucher only is issued per baby
- Vouchers are directly redeemable only by the applicant identified on the voucher. We must see evidence of your identity and will not release the order prior to receiving the voucher and proof of id in the post
- The RNfL voucher can only be redeemed for reusable cloth nappies and reasonably associated sundries such as washable nappy wraps, nappy nippas and nappy liners
- RNfL vouchers cannot be redeemed by customers retrospectively (i.e. after original purchase).
- No cash change can be given on exchange of the voucher
