Welcome to Green Jelly and to modern reusable nappies, cloth nappy accessories, baby slings and carriers, organic toiletries, gifts and complementary eco friendly products.

Green Jelly is run by me - Sharon Heinrich - from Great Chesterford a village in North Essex on the Cambridgeshire border.  I am a mummy to three girls - Amélie Feb 2005, Freya Oct 2006 and Lilia Dec 2010

I started using cloth nappies on my first daughter in 2005 and became involved with Essex County Council promoting reusable nappies at nappuccinos (coffee mornings with cloth nappies!) and other events in the Saffron Walden, Essex area. When it proved difficult to find local representatives to demonstrate the various types of washable nappy, I decided to start an independent company doing just that. Green Jelly started to grow locally and in 2006 the first Green Jelly webshop was launched, updated in 2010 by local web design company H18.  Baby slings and baby carriers have been added to the product range after many requests for alternatives to high street carriers.

Green Jelly aims to supply top quality products researched and tested by ourselves, friends and family providing great customer service at competitive prices. We offer advice to help in choosing and using nappies, baby carriers and other products both via our advice pages on the website and a tailored personal washable nappy and baby carrier advice service.  Email us at info@greenjellyshop.co.uk with your requirements and we will do our best to recommend the right solution for you and your baby.

To help in your choice, we offer free home cloth nappy consultations and sling demonstrations are available to local customers within a 20 mile radius of Saffron Walden, Essex for individuals and groups.  For consultations outside of this area a small fee may be charged to cover travel costs.  Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

We aim to meet your needs, so if there is anything you would like us to sell (reusable nappies, baby carriers or other products) that we do not already - please contact us and we will look into stocking them in the future. If there is a particular product you need now – let us know and it is likely that we can source it for you.

We try to be environmentally friendly where we can and use recycled paper, Eco Poly Jackets for shipping (biodegradable polythene film) and reuse packaging if possible.
