The ErgoBaby carrier is a soft structured carrier made in the USA which grows with your baby moving from front, to hip to back positions easily. The ergonomic design supports a natural sitting position for babies, eliminating compression of the spine and hips that can be caused using baby carriers or wraps with unsupported suspension. The Ergo baby carrier balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates stress on the back and shoulders for the parent.
The Ergo Baby carrier has adjustable padded shoulder and chest straps and a foam waist belt for comfort and buckles for easy of use. An adjustable sleep hood is useful for sleeping babies.
A newborn insert is available which can be used with babies from birth to 4-5 months and maintains the optimal position for the baby’s growth and development. The carrier can be used to carry children up to around 40lb.
The carrier fits adults from 5’ to 6’5” and has a waist circumference of 64cm – 109cm (25”-43”).

I love my ergo. I tried a number of different baby carriers with my first child and this is certainly the longest enduring one (Wrap carriers are great, but I found they became less practical with the older baby, or if you want to take them in and out of it quite a bit...) The Ergo spread the baby/ toddlers weight out and I could 'wear' my baby a lot longer than I could with e.g. the basic Baby Bjorn carrier. With the option of putting baby on the back, it become a practical carrier for toddlers too - although probably not for long walks! With the newborn insert, I am using it with my second child - although it isn't as comfy for her now as it will be when she's bigger.
Ideal and definitely my first choice for babies from 6 months to 1.5 years, but definitely useable before and after that age range.

A very easy-to-use carrier which ticks all the boxes; quick to put on and get baby seated correctly and simple to adjust with a quick pull on the straps. Utility styling gives a clean, stylish look to appeal to parents of both sexes. The zip pocket on the front is spacious - roomy enough for a wallet, phone, nappy and wipes. Every family should have one ;)

My ergobaby changed my life! Stopped using the buggy for good. Comfortable for babies and wearers no matter how you carry them. Me and my son travelled across France with just the Ergo to carry him in. Although expensive it is definitely worth every penny and you will find other Ergo users stopping you in the street to say "wow, aren't they wonderful'. If you are flying it is brilliant as it folds up so small - all in all a really great sling. Wouldn't be without it.

This sling is brilliant. It is incredibly light and it spreads the weight really evenly. It is much lighter and more convenient than some of the baby back-packs.
