Baby Hawk Mei Tai baby carriers are Asian inspired baby carriers made in USA that have 4 long straps that are tied around the parent. Baby Hawk carriers have no buckles and can be tied in various ways to allow babies and toddlers to be carried on your front, back or hip.

The Baby Hawk carrier is ideal for parents and carers with back or shoulder problems, as the weight of the child is distributed evenly across both shoulders and back. The baby carrier can also be used for discreet breast-feeding.

BabyHawk Mei Tai’s can take children from the newborn right up through the toddler years with a maximum weight of 40lbs.

Great starter Mei Tai

My first Asian style carrier was a Babyhawk. They are well made a come in a nice range of colours and patterns. Easy to wash and dry. Only downside I found was that the straps tended to reach the floor when putting it on which meant they got wet when outdoors in bad weather. A very secure feeling carrier - great for dog walking and climbing styles - you know babe will stay put!
